To help you find your way around the station more easily, we provide station overview maps. In addition to the platforms, you’ll find lifts, toilets and shops marked on the map. You’ll also see parking spaces or taxi stands indicated. Simply click on the desired station and scroll down to ‘Location plan and contact’.

Whether loudspeaker announcements, information boards, train formation displays or disruption notices, at our stations, you’ll find all the information you need to get to your train – and even to your preferred compartment. It’s important to allow yourself enough time so that you do not get stressed.

The SBB Inclusive app is particularly useful if there are high levels of ambient noise or crowds at the station. The app shows you the next train departures according to the departure or platform display boards. Current announcements playing at the station are also integrated into the app.

When you board an SBB long-distance train, the app lets you know which train you’ve just boarded and where you are in the train via a push notification.

At some Swiss stations, SOS Bahnhofhilfe (“SOS Station Assistance”) accompanies people with disabilities, elderly persons and other people who need assistance to and from trains as well as to other locations close to the station. You can also receive support in using all sorts of machines.

When you use the SBB Mobile or SBB Preview app, you will be shown detailed maps with walking routes for every interchange. That way, you can find your way around more easily in the station.
