Triregio: Travel without limits in the border triangle.

Travel without limits in the border triangle with the Triregio fare cooperative. This brings together the Northwestern Switzerland fare network (TNW), the Regio fare network Lörrach (RVL) and the Alsace public transport partner, Communauté de Communes des Trois Frontières, Distribus and SNCF.

Triregio has a suitable product for every travel requirement:

  • For occasional journeys in the neighbouring country, you can simply buy individual tickets, additional tickets or group tickets.
  • If you wish to make excursions in the border triangle, the TicketTriRegio is the right choice.
  • For commuters there are attractive travelcard offers such as RegioCardPlus, DistriPass or AlsaPlus.

Zone System.

The zone system applies for all Triregio tickets in the entire network area. The zone plan shows you the number of zones (areas) bordering on one another into which the Triregio area is divided. Irrespective of whether you are travelling by train, bus or tram – all types of public transport are included in the price of the zones you have paid for within the period of validity.

You can buy Triregio tickets at any SBB ticket counter in the network area. Individual tickets are also available on touch-screen ticket machines. Should you have any questions on Triregio tickets, please contact the SBB Contact Center Helpdesk on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).

For journeys beyond the borders of the network, network tickets are only valid up to the last timetabled stop within the zones purchased. The network tickets are not valid in SBB trains that do not stop in the zones paid for.

Discounts on day trips with RailAway.

With tickets for public transport, you can enjoy at least 10% discount or added value for numerous leisure experiences (Day trips).
