The Companion Card: now integrated onto the SwissPass.

The free Disabled Passenger’s ID Card (Companion Card) allows you to take a companion on the train with you for free. The Companion Card will be integrated into the SwissPass from 1 January 2022.

Before ordering a new Companion Card.

The switch-over of the Companion Card from paper version to the SwissPass will take place on a staggered basis canton by canton. Before you order a new Companion Card or a replacement card for your existing one, please check that the canton where you live has already switched.

If your canton of residence has not yet switched over to the SwissPass when you order the Companion Card, order the Disabled Passenger’s ID Card from your canton. You’ll then receive the paper version.
