GA Travelcard compensation in light of the corona pandemic.

From 11 May, gradual expansion of the public transport service offer will be underway. All customers who held a GA Travelcard continuously between 17 March and 10 May 2020 will receive a one-off compensation payment worth 15 travelcard days.

One-off credit for GA Travelcard customers.

Private customers with a GA Travelcard on a SwissPass.

The payment will be automatically credited to your SwissPass account by 15 May 2020 at the latest and deducted from the following invoice. Customers are not required to take any action. The credit cannot be paid out in cash.

Private customers with a GA Travelcard on a blue card.

Customers with a GA Travelcard on a blue card will also receive the compensation. This will be sent automatically by post as a Rail Bon. Customers are not required to take any action. The Rail Bon can be used at any staffed public transport point of sale to purchase a new GA Travelcard. The credit cannot be paid out in cash.

Depositing your GA travelcard.

Customers have the option of depositing their GA Travelcard for up to 30 days per travelcard year. Holders of a GA Travelcard on a SwissPass can deposit it using this form. Customers with the GA Travelcard on a blue card can deposit it at any staffed point of sale. Note: the Familia GA Travelcard for children, the Familia GA Travelcard for young adults and the GA Travelcard for dogs cannot be deposited.
