Paying for your new travelcard.
- When buying online, you can pay by credit card and PostFinance Card.
- When ordering using the PDF order form, you can choose between payment by credit card or invoice.
- The following means of payment are available to you for purchases made at a serviced point of sale: Cash payment, vouchers, Reka Cheque, Reka Rail, debit or credit card (PostFinance Card, Mastercard, Visa, Reka Card, American Express, Diners, JCB or myOne).

You can pay for your new travelcard with the following credit cards:
- Visa (incl. prepaid cards)
- MasterCard (incl. prepaid cards)
- American Express
- Diners Club International
- JCB
- MyOne
Please note:
- The credit card must be in the same name as the contracting party.
- The credit card will be charged once the order has been received.
I would like to pay by PostFinance Card (Please note personal limits).
I would like to pay by invoice.
We will send you the invoice together with a payment slip in the post. Please note:
- Your order must be placed at least ten days before your travelcard validity begins. Otherwise your payment by invoice cannot be processed and will be returned.
- We will send you the invoice separately – i.e. not together with your SwissPass card. You must pay this before the first day that your travelcard is valid, otherwise you will receive a payment reminder.

Payment of subsequent invoices.
Invoice by e-mail.
We will send the travelcard contracting party an e-mail once the invoice is ready in the customer account on swisspass.chLink opens in new window., where you will find all the information about paying the invoice by online banking.
Sign up to receive invoices by e-mail on swisspass.chLink opens in new window. under “Notifications” in the “Settings” menu item or on the order form.
Invoice by post.
We will send you the invoice together with a payment slip in the post.
Direct debit (LSV) and DebitDirect.
If you pay by direct debit through your bank or DebitDirect from Swiss Post, the travelcard fee will automatically be debited from your account on the date the payment is due unless you cancel in time. Fill in the form to pay by LSV or DebitDirect. If you decide to pay by direct debit through a bank, please send the signed form to your bank. If you would like to pay by DebitDirect (Swiss Post) please send the signed form to SBB AG Passenger Traffic c/o SBB Corporate Finance, Poststrasse 6, CH-3000 Bern 65. We will notify you by post or e-mail before the automatic renewal of your travelcard about the upcoming direct debit.
E-bill directly to your e-banking account.
Paying is even more convenient with the e-bill service from Swiss banks. We will send you the e-bill electronically to the billing inbox in your e-banking account. You do not have to read in a payment slip. Simply check the invoice and authorise payment with just a few clicks. Sign up for e-banking with your bank under the menu item E-billing/invoicing at SBB to receive e-bills.
Please note: You will not receive any additional invoicing information from us by post or e-mail when you pay by e-bill. We recommend that you sign up for reminders at swisspass.chLink opens in new window. and we will then remind you in good time, by e-mail or SMS, of your travelcard’s possible cancellation date.
