With the Children’s Co-Travelcard for CHF 30 per year, children from the age of six up to their 16th birthday can travel throughout Switzerland accompanied by an adult (16 and over) holding a valid ticket.
Buy a Children’s Co-Travelcard.
You can obtain the Children’s Co-Travelcard at any served ticket counter. The accompanying person and the child must be specified upon purchase. A separate travelcard is needed for every combination of child and accompanying person.
When purchasing a travelcard, please bring a passport or another form of official identification with you that shows the child’s date of birth. There is no limit to the number of Children’s Co-Travelcard purchases.
Validity.
The Children’s Co-Travelcard is valid anywhere within the Half Fare Travelcard area. Children may also use these to travel free or at a reduced price on many tram and bus routes of local transport services. A maximum of four children with valid Children’s Co-Travelcard can be accompanied by one person. The Children’s Co-Travelcard is not valid for schools, institutions, associations, companies, institutions and organisations etc. that are travelling as a group.
Forgotten your Children’s Co-Travelcard?
If you have left your Children’s Co-Travelcard at home, you can buy a temporary replacement card from the counter for a fee of CHF 5.00. Simply present an official form of identification. Prices and products are subject to change.
