Information on discounts and conditions in countries not listed is available at the nearest SBB counter or in the contact centre.

Only electronic tickets can be refunded by telephone.
For tickets purchased at the counter (or those printed on security paper), please contact a staffed SBB ticket counter before the train departs to get an exchange or refund.
If you are already abroad, have the staff at ticket counter in the local station confirm that the ticket has not been used (date, time, station stamp required on the original ticket) before the train departs / before the first day of validity. Please then contact a staffed ticket counter in Switzerland upon your return.

Can be exchanged or refunded free of charge.
Discounts:
If you have a Half Fare or GA Travelcard, you can receive a 15% discount on the German part of the journey for your cross-border ticket. The usual discount for Half Fare and GA Travelcards applies on the Swiss part of the journey.
Children aged under 16 can travel free of charge if accompanied by a passenger aged 16 or over in possession of a valid ticket. Seat reservations are subject to a fee.
Children aged under 15 travelling by themselves pay half price.
Groups of 6 or more people can receive a discount of 30% if they purchase their ticket at the ticket counter.

The Railplus card is free for young people aged under 26 who have a GA or Half Fare Travelcard.
