Railplus – a plus for GA and Half Fare Travelcards.

Railplus lets you travel to many European countries for 15% less. The supplementary card for the GA and Half Fare Travelcards is valid for 1st and 2nd class.

The Railplus card is a supplementary card for the GA and Half Fare Travelcards and gives you a 15% discount on the standard price of cross-border tickets in 1st and 2nd class when you start your journey in Switzerland.

The Railplus card

  • is valid for one year. 
  • is available for adults and people aged 60 and above for CHF 25 per year. 
  • is free for young people (up to 26 years old) and children (up to 16 years old). 
  • can be obtained at staffed public transport points of sale. Make sure you bring your SwissPass with you.
  • Important: Railplus is not necessary for journeys to Germany and Austria because you can already travel with a 15% discount with your Half Fare or GA Travelcard.
