• With the Half-Fare travelcard and the GA travelcard, you pay 25% less for the Austrian part of the fare, and the usual discount applies for the Swiss part of the route.
• Children up to 16 years of age in families, travelling with a parent or grandparent or with the partner of such, travel free of charge (proof required). However, seat reservations must be paid for.
• Children up to 16 years travelling on their own pay just half the fare.
• Groups of 6 people or more receive a discount.
• All reductions only apply for the purchase of a cross-border ticket and not for purely domestic travel within Austria.

Reservations and supplements.

• You pay for seat reservations and supplements separately, depending on the train and as required. In the railjet, reservations are obligatory for Business Class and you will require a ticket for 1st class.
• Any counter fees will be due for payment when purchasing tickets at the staffed ticket counter.

If you stay in Austria over the weekend and book the outward and return journeys at the same time thanks to the TEE Plan + Spar, you save another 25%. TEE Plan + Spar is available for 1st and 2nd class.

• Any counter fees will be due for payment when purchasing tickets at the staffed ticket counter.

Spar Night is the advantageous low-price offer for night trains to Austria. Ticket numbers are limited, so the earlier you book the greater the opportunity to travel at a very favourable price.
