International tickets: Austria.

Whether you are travelling to Austria with a low-cost supersaver ticket or at the standard tariff, whether you require tickets for day trains or night trains: we are sure to have the right one for you. On this page, you will find a summary of the various offers and provisions for the different trains.

Standard tariffs

Tickets at the standard fare offer you the highest flexibility for your travel with a free choice of trains; you pay a distance-related price for this. You can obtain tickets at the standard fare for 1st and 2nd class, and for single and return journeys. We recommend booking your seat early, particularly in high-occupancy trains. You can purchase reservations separately.

Supersaver tickets

With a European supersaver ticket, you can travel at particularly low prices to Austria from all stations in Switzerland and in the reverse direction. Supersaver tickets online are always issued for a single journey only (if you would like a return ticket, purchase a separate supersaver ticket for the return journey). We also recommend that you reserve your seat, and you can purchase the reservation separately. With a supersaver ticket you can only board the selected train and if you do not board this one it expires. You can purchase supersaver tickets for 1st and 2nd class but the number of tickets is limited. We therefore recommend that you buy early.
