Good to know.

Here is an overview of all the most important information. By the way: don’t forget to take your ID or passport with you on your journey.

Transporting a bicycle on TER Fluo trains.

Under certain conditions, bicycles can be transported on board TER Fluo trains. The provisions and rules for the transport of bicycles depend on the bicycle type:

Folding bicycles/scooters can be transported free of charge with no reservation required. Please note that they will need to be folded up (maximum dimensions 130×90 cm) and stowed away in a carrying case. Please note: folding bicycles and scooters must be stored in the luggage area.

Normal bicycles can be transported on TER Fluo trains without a reservation (except on some TER trains between Strasbourg and Basel), as long as spaces are available (bicycles must be put in the bicycle areas and must not hinder the movement of passengers).

Bulky bicycles are not permitted aboard TER Fluo trains (tricycles, cargo bicycles, tandems, bicycle trailers etc.).

Please note: Passengers have priority! If there are large numbers of passengers aboard the TER Fluo trains, the SNCF staff may not permit the carriage of bicycles.

What is there to discover in Grand Est?

Strasbourg, with its Gothic cathedrals and the picturesque old town quarter of La Petite France, the lively and modern university town of Reims, mediaeval Colmar, the woods and walking routes of the Vosges – Grand Est is one of the most diverse regions in France.
