Do you travel fairly frequently, but not regularly, on the same route? Then the multiple-journey ticket with six single journeys to validate might be a good choice for you. Tip: The multiple-journey ticket is also suitable for journeys with several people.
The multiple-journey ticket entitles you to six single journeys on the selected route. It is non-personal and therefore transferable. It can be used by different people or for several passengers travelling together. The important thing is to validate a field in the correct category for each person and each journey.
Multiple-journey tickets can be purchased from ticket machines or at public transport points of sale.
All passengers aged over 6 require a ticket, e.g. a multiple-journey ticket, for every public transport journey from A to B. Multiple-journey tickets are available for 1st and 2nd class, and at full price or the Half Fare Travelcard price.
The full price applies to adults aged over 16 without a Half Fare Travelcard or Half Fare Card.
The Half Fare Travelcard price applies to children aged at least 6 and under 16 and to passengers with a Half Fare Travelcard or a Half Fare Card.
Children aged under 6 do not need a ticket; they always travel free of charge.
The period of validity for a longer route (116km and over) is one calendar day; for a shorter route (up to 115km) it is four hours from the time of validation.
The period of validity for one calendar day (on longer routes) starts at midnight and ends at 5am the following day.
If the journey / return journey ends after the end of the period of validity, please buy a single journey ticket for the corresponding route.
Warning: In fare networks, multiple-journey tickets have a restricted period of validity.
You can break up your journey along the selected route as often as you like and get on and off the train at any stop. It is important that you complete your journey before the end of the period of validity. If not, please buy a ticket for the relevant time and route.
Warning: In fare networks, multiple-journey tickets have a restricted period of validity.
