Are you travelling in Switzerland with your children? The Swiss Family Card is free of charge for children aged at least 6 and under 16. If you are a parent, you get this when you buy a Swiss Travel Pass / Flex or a Swiss Half Fare Card.
If you are a parent with children aged at least 6 and under 16 and you add them when you buy your Swiss Travel Pass / Flex or the Swiss Half Fare card, you will receive a Swiss Family Card free of charge for each child.
Children with a Swiss Family Card travelling together with a parent who has a Swiss Travel Pass / Flex or a Swiss Half Fare Card and a ticket travel free of charge throughout Switzerland: by train, bus and boat, on panorama trains (excl. seat reservations and/or surcharges), on the Rigi, Stanserhorn and Stoos mountains. Journeys by public transport in over 90 Swiss towns and cities are also included.
Children with the Swiss Family Card benefit from free travel by public transport on leisure excursions with a parent as well as discounts on leisure services.
