Do you like planning your day trips in advance? You can travel for a whole day even more cheaply with a Saver Day Pass: from just CHF 29 with a Half Fare Travelcard, from CHF 52 without a Half Fare Travelcard. And in 1st class from CHF 49 with a Half Fare Travelcard, from CHF 88 without a Half Fare Travelcard.
The Saver Day Pass is available online at SBB.ch and in the SBB Mobile / Preview app.
Saver Day Passes are only available in advance. The advance booking period is at least one day and up to six months.
Saver Day Passes for 1st and 2nd class are subject to quotas at the difference prices and are only available while stocks last.
Each Saver Day Pass is valid wherever the GA Travelcard is valid, in other words, within the GA Travelcard area of validity. Valid on the date selected until 5am the following day.
You can also buy the Saver Day Pass yourself online or in the app in combination with the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS: simply use the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS as the payment method.
You can have a Saver Day Pass refunded free of charge within 30 minutes when purchased with a login and the amount is paid back to you. After 30 minutes, refunds are only possible in exceptional cases.
- If you are travelling with a Half Fare Travelcard and a 2nd class Saver Day Pass, you can buy a 1-day Class Upgrade or reduced-price, route-specific (Supersaver) Class Upgrades for travel in 1st class. If you do not have a Half Fare Travelcard, you can buy a route-specific (Supersaver) Class Upgrade at full price.
- Depending on your route and the availability of Saver Day Passes, a 2nd class Saver Day Pass and a 1-day Class Upgrade may be cheaper than a 1st class Saver Day Pass.
- If you have a Half Fare Travelcard, you can buy reduced-price tickets for travel on numerous cable cars, mountain railways and other connecting services. Without a Half Fare Travelcard, you will have to pay the full price for a connecting ticket.
- The Saver Day Pass can be used together with the Junior Travelcard and the Children’s Co-Travelcard.
