Buy your Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Travel Pass Flex conveniently online. Find out how you can also show your Swiss Travel Pass in the SBB Mobile app in the step-by-step instructions.
If you want to show your Swiss Travel Pass (Youth) in the SBB Mobile app (the SBB timetable app) during ticket inspection, then sign in with your login when you buy it. (Does NOT work for Swiss Travel Pass Flex (Youth)).
Open the SwissPass page
swisspass.ch Click ‘Register’.
Select ‘No SwissPass’.
Fill in your first name, last name and date of birth (no address).
Click ‘Next’.
Enter your e-mail and password.
You will receive an activation code by e-mail.
Enter this activation code.
Now you are logged in and can purchase the Swiss Travel Pass. If you add children aged 6 or over and under 16, you will also receive the Swiss Family Card automatically free of charge.
After purchase, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Download the SBB Mobile app (free of charge for iOS and Android) onto your smartphone, sign in with the e-mail and password from Step 6 and you will see the Swiss Travel Pass (plus any Swiss Family Card) when you click on the tab ‘Tickets & Travelcards’.
When you buy online without a login (as a guest), you receive the Swiss Travel Pass (Youth) by e-mail as a QR code. Show this QR code during the ticket inspection. (There is no option to show the Swiss Travel Pass in the SBB Mobile app when you purchase as a guest.)
You can also buy the Swiss Travel Pass Flex (Youth) as a guest and you will also receive an e-mail with a QR code for the ticket inspection. (For technical reasons, the Swiss Travel Pass Flex (Youth) cannot be integrated at all in the SBB Mobile app.)
