SwissPass Mobile and SwissPass card.

Whether it’s a GA Travelcard, Half Fare Travelcard or other public transport travelcard: with the SwissPass, you have a ticket for your travels – and much more besides. With SwissPass Mobile, you can conveniently show your travelcard digitally while on the go using the SBB Mobile or SBB Preview app.

No plastic card required: simply show all your travelcards to the ticket inspector using the SBB Mobile / Preview app.
Automatic linking: your saved travelcards (such as the Half Fare Travelcard or Regional Travelcard) are visible directly in the app and are automatically applied when you buy a ticket.
The physical card is only needed if you wish to use additional features.

How to get your SwissPass.

SwissPass Mobile.

Do you already have a SwissPass card? Activate SwissPass Mobile in two steps:

To use the SwissPass Mobile feature, you will need a SwissPass account and a SwissPass login. Register for this at swisspass.ch.
Sign in to the SBB Mobile or SBB Preview app with your SwissPass login and activate the SwissPass Mobile function in the “Tickets & Travelcards” tab.

During a ticket inspection, you can now show your SwissPass Mobile on your smartphone or tablet. Proof of identity may also be required upon request. Please have official ID, for example your identity card, passport or driving licence, ready for this purpose. If your SwissPass cannot be checked digitally (e.g. battery flat, display damaged, no online connection established for a long time, etc.) and you cannot present a physical SwissPass card, processing fees will be charged.

As a new customer, you also register on swisspass.ch. During the registration process, select “Mobile” at the “Choose your ID” step. Then you can then easily activate SwissPass Mobile in the SBB Mobile / Preview app.

If you are a new customer and need a SwissPass card, please register at swisspass.ch and order it online via your customer account. During the registration process, select “Card” at the “Choose your ID” step.

Alternatively, you can order the card at a staffed public transport point of sale. Please bring a valid official ID with you. Your SwissPass card will then be sent to you by post.

Cashless payments with the SwissPass.

You can use your SwissPass to pay quickly and cashlessly at ticket machines and staffed public transport points of sale. You can view your spending at swisspass.ch/prepay. Alternatively, you can obtain information at staffed public transport points of sale.
