With an international group ticket, groups of 10 or more travel cheaper than they would with standard Point-to-Point Tickets.

For journeys as small groups (between six and nine people) buy single tickets on SBB.ch, SBB Mobile or at your point of sale. Online / via mobile you can buy tickets for a maximum of five to nine passengers per request, depending on the country. You may need to split up the booking.

For everyone and for all classes of travel.

The international group ticket is available in 1st and 2nd class, for single journeys and for return journeys.

Also for night trains.

Group tickets can also be bought for night trains.

Online request.

Submit your request for a group ticket to Europe to us using the online form. If you can tell us the dates of birth of all of the passengers in the group, as well as any travelcards for Switzerland and abroad, this will speed the process up.

When finalising the purchase, a processing fee of CHF 55 will be charged.

Purchase at least 15 working days in advance.

International group tickets can be requested and bought no more than six months before the planned date of departure. The processing time is at least 15 working days before departure, and 25 working days for journeys to or through Germany.

Requests cannot be made by telephone, e-mail or in person.

Requests made in the SBB Travel Centre, by telephone or by e-mail cannot be processed.

For some regional trains in France (e.g. Lyon) and Italy (journeys from Ticino to Milan), group tickets cannot be issued. Instead, buy single tickets online on SBB.ch or at the SBB Travel Centre.

1 to 9 people: CHF 16 per person.
