The SwissPass card for travelcards and SwissPass Plus.

The SwissPass card is at the heart of all SwissPass offers and services. Public transport travelcards and partner services are integrated onto it.

As soon as you buy a Half Fare, GA or Regional Travelcard, for example, you will automatically receive the SwissPass card. If you just want to benefit from partner services, you can get the SwissPass card for free at a public transport point of sale. The only thing you need is a valid ID card (or another form of official ID) and a recent passport photo.

The new SwissPass.

A new generation of SwissPass cards will gradually replace the previous cards. The new cards have technical capabilities that will enable the SwissPass to be used in new ways. The SwissPass will remain a carrier medium for a wide range of public transport services and offers from partner companies.

How to get the new SwissPass card.

You don’t need to take any action. New customers will receive the new SwissPass from mid-December 2021 onwards. Current card holders will automatically receive a new generation SwissPass card free of charge once their existing card expires after five years.

Important information about partner services stored on the card.

Most existing services will not be transferred from partner services to the new card. Please contact the respective partner service to find out how to transfer your services.

Pay for tickets and travelcards with the SwissPass card.
