With the Saver Day Pass you can travel throughout Switzerland for a day on all routes in the GA area from as little as CHF 29 with a Half-Fare travelcard and from CHF 52 without a Half-Fare travelcard. Saver Day Passes.
are subject to certain conditions;
can be purchased for 1st and 2nd class, depending on availability;
are available with or without a Half Fare travelcard;
are only available when booking in advance: from 60 days in advance up to the day before travel. They cannot be purchased on the day of travel;
are available in different price bands with different advance booking periods and availabilities: the earlier you buy, the cheaper you travel;
are available online and on SBB Mobile.
are valid on the selected day up until 5 a.m. the following day on routes in the GA travelcard area.
Special terms and conditions.
If you are travelling with a Half-Fare travelcard and a 2nd class Saver Day Pass, you can buy 1-day class upgrades for journeys in 1st class as well as discounted route-specific class upgrades. If you do not have a Half Fare travelcard, you will have to pay the full price for a route-specific class upgrade.
With a Half-Fare travelcard you can buy tickets at a reduced price for journeys on numerous mountain railways and connecting trains. Without a Half-Fare travelcard, you will have to pay the full price for a zone upgrade.
The Saver Day Pass can be used together with the Junior travelcard and the Children's Co-travelcard.
Saver Day Passes can only be refunded for a CHF 10 excess at a staffed point of sale or through the Brig Contact Center via the online form below in the following exceptional cases:
multiple identical Saver Day Passes purchased;
Saver Day Passes purchased for the wrong customer group;
inability to travel (illness, accident). Only with a medical certificate;
Saver Day Passes with obviously incorrect personal details;
Saver Day Passes with the wrong date: a refund is only possible before the Saver Day Pass travel date. It must be proven that a new ticket has been purchased;
refund after subsequent purchase of personal travelcards (refund without an administration fee);
