For CHF 25, your dog can accompany you on public transport for a full day, in 2nd and even in 1st class.

What the Day Pass for Dogs offers.

Just CHF 25 a day.

For just CHF 25 a day, your four-legged friend can enjoy unlimited travel with you for the whole calendar day on trains, boats and PostBus routes, as well as trams and buses in most Swiss cities and urban areas.

Valid in 1st and 2nd class.

Day Passes for Dogs are not class-specific and are valid in both 1st and 2nd class. However, the accompanying person must hold a valid ticket for the class of travel.

Tip: small dogs free of charge.

If your dog is smaller than 30cm (height at the withers) and you place it in a transport box, basket or other suitable container under your seat, the dog can be carried free of charge as hand luggage.

Purchasing.

The Day Pass for Dogs can be purchased conveniently online at SBB.ch or in the SBB Mobile / Preview app, at ticket machines or at a staffed public transport point of sale.

Name of accompanying person.

For purchases on SBB.ch and in the apps, you must enter the first name, last name and date of birth of the accompanying person under ‘Who is travelling?’.

Also works with the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS.

The Day Pass for Dogs can also be purchased online or in the app using the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS: simply use the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS as the payment method.

Area of validity.

The Day Pass for Dogs is valid wherever the GA Travelcard applies: within the GA Travelcard area of validity. Valid on the date selected and until 5am the following day.

Space under the seat.

On public transport, your dog must be placed under the seat so as not to block the way for other passengers.

Monthly Dog Pass.

Just CHF 60 per month.

If you are looking after a dog during holidays or are only travelling with your dog for a short time, the monthly Dog Pass is ideal.
