With the Friends Day Pass for Youth, you can travel throughout Switzerland for an entire day in a group of two, three or four people – for just CHF 80 in 2nd class or CHF 120 in 1st class. There’s only one condition: all passengers must be under the age of 25.
All passengers need to be below the age of 25 and must be able to demonstrate this during ticket inspection by means of an ID document.
The Friends Day Pass for Youth can be purchased conveniently online at SBB.ch or in the SBB Mobile / Preview app, at ticket machines or at a staffed public transport point of sale.
The Friends Day Pass for Youth is valid wherever the GA Travelcard is valid, in other words, within the GA Travelcard area of validity.
- All passengers need to be under the age of 25 and must be able to demonstrate this during ticket inspection by means of an ID document or a SwissPass.
- The Friends Day Pass for Youth is valid for up to four people who are travelling together. This is why only one of the passengers in the group needs a Friends Day Pass for Youth. - A separate ticket is required for bicycles and dogs.
- If you would like to travel in 1st class with a 2nd class Friends Day Pass for Youth, you must buy a class upgrade for each person for journeys in 1st class.
- Half Fare Travelcard holders can buy a 1-day Class Upgrade or a discounted, route-specific class upgrade (incl. Supersaver Class Upgrade).
- People without a Half Fare Travelcard require a route-specific class upgrade or Supersaver Class Upgrade at full price.
- Tip: For groups of three or more, it is less expensive for passengers with a 2nd class GA Travelcard to travel with a 1st class Friends Day Pass for Youth than with a 1-day Class Upgrade.
- Every passenger requires a connecting ticket for travel on mountain lifts or railways and connections outside of the GA Travelcard area of validity.
- GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard holders pay the reduced price.
- People without a GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard pay the full price.
