Luggage order.

We would be happy to come up with an offer tailored specifically to your requirements. Please complete the following online form “Request for a quotation for group luggage” in as much detail as possible at least five working days before the transfer date.

The following delivery, collection and shipping timings represent the basic service we offer. Timings will be agreed with you individually.

• Collection before 9am with delivery the same day by 7pm.
• Collection with delivery the next day or two days later (delivery by 7pm).
• Group luggage door to door for school, children and young people under 25: delivery two days later by 9am. 

• Maximum weight: 25 kg.
• Luggage: suitcases, bags.
• Skiing equipment: skis, ski boots, poles, snowboards, sledges.
• Bicycle: bicycle or bicycle trailer with maximum dimensions of 2m x 80cm x 1m.
• E-bike: electric bicycle with an auxiliary electric motor and maximum dimensions of 2m x 80cm x 1m.
• Special cycles: will not fit into the normal suspension. Longer than 2 metres, maximum dimensions: length 2.40 metres x breadth 0.9 metres x height 1.1 metres.

Groups must register. 

• Collection and delivery points must have postal addresses in Switzerland or Liechtenstein and be suitable for vehicle access. Otherwise the carrier designates a suitable handover point when confirming the arrangement on the previous day.
  
• Packaging: skiing equipment, bicycles and special cycles must be packed in personal wrapping or in that of the transport company. SBB has an official transportation bag for bicycles, the TranZbag.
  
• Items with special packaging requirements: 
  • Skis and ski boots are to be packed separately in pairs in the appropriate plastic cover provided by the transport company
  • Multiple pairs in personal bags up to a maximum weight of 25 kg
  • 1 snowboard per plastic cover provided by the transport company or multiple pairs in personal bags up to max. 25 kg
• The luggage to be transported must be labelled with a name, address and telephone number and be packed appropriately. 
• Liability for the partial or total loss, damage and delayed delivery of luggage shall be governed by the Swiss Federal Passenger Transportation Act (PTA) and the applicable Passenger Transportation Ordinance of the Swiss Federal Council.
  
• Whenever possible, group luggage door to door is always transported by rail. It may, however, also be transported entirely by road for logistical reasons. The public transport sector currently handles an average of 70% of luggage transport by rail and 30% by road.

• Transfers from/to hotels.
• Trackside pick-up from and delivery to specified carriages.

The provisions of the tariff basis of ch-direct respectively the tariffs for luggage of T602 apply.
Bicycles and special cycles cannot be checked in at or collected from these stations.
