For CHF 260, you can take your bike with you on public transport as often as you like for one year. Whether for work or your free time, just hang it up on the hook and your bicycle travels with you.
You can find out which transport companies allow you to load your bicycle yourself in the PDF file in the column ‘T600 bike self-service’ under section 0.1 ‘Transport companies rail/bus/boat, local transport and transport associations’. If it says ‘yes’ here, you can take your bike with you.
- Children (aged 6 to under 16) can take their children’s bike or trailer bike with them free of charge provided they are accompanied by a person aged 16 or over.
- Children with a GA Travelcard for Children or a GA Travelcard Familia for Children can take their bike with them for free even when on their own.
- For children under 6 years old, children’s bikes are considered hand luggage and can be transported free of charge.
If no more than two travelcard months have passed and you no longer need the annual bike pass, you can have it refunded at a staffed public transport point of sale or by calling the SBB Contact Center (tel. 0848 44 66 88 CHF 0.08/min. available 24/7).
- Before the end of the first travelcard month, you get 50% of the purchase price back.
- Before the end of the second travelcard month, you get 25% refunded.
- Refunds are not possible after this.
