The Mobilis fare network brings together the 13 largest public transport companies in the canton of Vaud, as well as RegionAlps in the Valais Chablais and certain areas shared with the canton of Fribourg. The same straightforward fare system applies across the entire Mobilis area, there is only one ticket you need.
The zone system applies to all tickets across the Mobilis fare network. The zone map shows you how many adjoining zones (areas) you need to purchase to get from A to B. Whether you’re travelling by train, bus, funicular railway or metro – within the zones covered and the period of validity, all public transport services are included within the fare.
The Junior Travelcard and the Children’s Co-Travelcard are also valid within the Mobilis fare network.
If you have a Half Fare Travelcard, you benefit from reduced prices on all single tickets, group tickets and Day Passes and Multi Day Passes.
Various transport operators in the Mobilis area provide public transport services to get you home safely and in comfort at weekends, even at night.
With your Mobilis ticket, you can take advantage of up to 50% off numerous leisure activities.
You can get information and answers to questions about Mobilis from the SBB Contact Center on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min., 24/7).
- If you would like to travel beyond the limits of your Mobilis ticket, you will need a zone upgrade. This will be needed from the last timetabled stop covered by your Mobilis ticket to the final stop of your journey.
- If your train does not stop in the Mobilis zones covered by your ticket, your Mobilis ticket is not valid. Please buy a standard-price ticket instead (or a Supersaver Ticket).
