The Transreno fare network brings together Chur Bus, PostBus, the Rhaetian Railway, SBB and Thurbo. The same straightforward fare system applies across the entire Transreno area.Whether your journey is urban or rural, there is only one ticket you need.
The zone system applies to all tickets across the Transreno fare network. The zone map shows you how many adjoining zones (areas) you need to purchase to get from A to B. Regardless of whether you travel by train or bus, all public transport services within the purchased zones and for the applicable validity period are included in the price.
The Junior Travelcard and the Children’s Co-Travelcard – the family discounts of the Swiss transport companies – are also valid within the Transreno fare network.
If you have a Half Fare Travelcard, you benefit from reduced prices on all single tickets, group tickets and Day Passes.
With your Transreno ticket, you can take advantage of up to 50% off numerous leisure activities.
You can get information and answers to questions about Transreno from the SBB Contact Center on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min., 24/7).
- If you would like to travel beyond the limits of your Transreno ticket, you will need a zone upgrade. This will be needed from the last timetabled stop within your Transreno ticket to the final stop of your journey.
- If your train does not stop in the Transreno zones you purchased, your Transreno ticket is not valid. Please buy a standard-price ticket instead (or a Supersaver Ticket).
