Zone system.

The zone system applies to all tickets across the Triregio fare network. The zone map shows you how many adjoining zones (areas) you need to purchase to get from A to B. Whether you travel by train, bus or tram – within the zones covered and the period of validity, all public transport services are included within the fare.

Journeys beyond the fare network area.

For journeys beyond the boundaries of the regional network, regional tickets and passes are valid until the last scheduled stop within the selected zones. If your destination is in Switzerland, purchase a zone upgrade from the last scheduled stop in your Triregio ticket to the final destination of your journey.
If your train does not stop in the Triregio zones you purchased, your Triregio ticket is not valid. Please buy a standard-price ticket instead (or a Supersaver Ticket).
