The Vagabond travelcard network unifies the four most important transport companies in the canton of Jura. The same simple fare system applies across the entire Vagabond area. Whether your journey is urban or rural, there is only one ticket you need.
The zone system applies to all travelcards across the Vagabond fare network. The zone plan shows you how many adjoining zones (areas) you need to purchase to get from A to B. Regardless of whether you travel by train or bus, all public transport services within the purchased zones and for the applicable validity period are included in the price.
The Junior Travelcard and the Children’s Co-Travelcard – the family discounts of the Swiss transport companies – are also valid within the Vagabond area.
With the Noctambus Jura, you can get home safely and comfortably at night by public transport at weekends.
With your Vagabond ticket, you benefit from discounts of up to 50% on numerous leisure time activities.
You can get information and answers to questions about the Vagabond travelcard network from the SBB Contact Center on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min., 24/7).
- If you would like to travel beyond the limits of your Vagabond travelcard, you will need a zone upgrade. This will be needed from the last timetabled stop within your Vagabond travelcard to the final stop of your journey.
- From Vagabond, you can also get Modular Travelcards (Northwestern Switzerland fare network) or attractive travelcard combinations for journeys towards Biel/Bienne (Libero) or La Chaux-de-Fonds (Onde Verte).
