There is a modern cycle park tower in Münchenbuchsee right next to platform 2. It can house 12 bikes and includes storage space for luggage and accessories. Due to maintenance work, the bike tower will be closed until the end of July 2024. Thank you for your understanding.
Another cycle park tower providing space for 20 bikes including storage space for luggage and accessories is located next to the kiosk in Meilen.

Your bike will be kept safe in the cycle storage facility thanks to secure access. The compartments each store approx. 5 to 10 bikes and the doors can be opened without assistance. At Rapperswil station, SBB is currently testing a cycle park facility that has been equipped with a digital access system. This initiative helps to promote more secure and easily accessible cycle parking at railway stations.
How to protect your bike from the weather, theft or vandalism:
Using your SwissPass card or the QR code you received upon purchase of a day ticket or subscription for the Rapperswil site on velocity.ch, you can access the secure cycle storage facility.
To do so, register ahead of time on velocity.ch using your SwissPass number.
Log in, select the Rapperswil Bahnhof station site and choose your desired parking duration.
To open the door, hold your SwissPass card or the QR code up to the cycle park card reader.
Place your bike or e-bike in an open spot on the bike racks and rest assured that it will stay safe and dry.
