GA Travelcard for Children.

Education, sport, leisure, visits – is your child often out and about all over Switzerland? Then a 2nd class or 1st class GA Travelcard for Children is ideal. You can get it for children aged at least 6 and under 16 for a heavily discounted price – payable on a monthly or an annual basis.

What the GA Travelcard for Children offers.
Full mobility at a child-friendly price.

With the GA Travelcard for Children, children aged at least 6 and under 16 have unlimited travel across Switzerland by train, S-Bahn, Postbus, boat and urban modes of transport without having to be accompanied by an adult. And all of this at a very special price. Just CHF 4.70 per day in 2nd class, for example.

Many benefits.

Loyalty vouchers, discounts of up to 50% on leisure activities and the Tandem Day Pass for GA Travelcard Youth – these are just a few of the advantages you will benefit from with a GA Travelcard.

Free carriage of bicycles.

A GA Travelcard for Children means that children aged under 16 do not need a bike ticket to take a bicycle with them on the train – even if they are travelling by themselves. Where required, reservations will still need to be made.

Automatic renewal.

When buying a GA Travelcard, you take out an indefinite contract. The advantage is that your travelcard will automatically be renewed once the selected period of validity has passed and the travelcard will remain available on your SwissPass. Please note that if you are not yet 18 years of age, for legal reasons you can only take advantage of automatic renewal (necessary for a GA Travelcard with monthly payment) of your travelcard if the adult contracting party (e.g. your father or mother) makes the online purchase, or if you name an adult contracting party on the order form and have it signed by that person. Warning: Please note that the GA Travelcard for Children is automatically converted into a GA Travelcard for Youth after the child’s 16th birthday and is charged for accordingly on the next monthly or annual invoice. Important: We will remind you of the possible cancellation deadline well ahead of the automatic renewal.

Pay monthly or annually.

You decide whether you would like to pay for your GA Travelcard on an annual or monthly basis. If you prefer to pay in smaller, regular instalments, then we recommend the GA Travelcard with monthly payment. This way – and maintaining the minimum contract term of six months – you use your GA Travelcard for your journeys for as many months as you like. In the case of annual payments, you pay once for a whole year.
