Have you held a GA Travelcard continuously for five years or longer? We would like to thank you by giving you a voucher worth CHF 150 for the purchase of public transport services for each five-year anniversary (5, 10, 15 years etc. as a GA Travelcard holder).

GA Travelcard customers receive a voucher for a free Companion Day Pass once a year when they renew their GA Travelcard without a break in validity. Travel through Switzerland by public transport for a day with a companion of your choice and share your travel experiences.

Would you like to enjoy travel in 1st class for a change? With your 2nd class GA Travelcard, you can benefit from discounted class upgrades for certain routes, for one day or one month.
If children under 16 have a 2nd class GA Travelcard for Children or a GA Travelcard Familia for Children, they can travel in 1st class with an accompanying person (16 years old or older) without a class upgrade if the accompanying person has a ticket or travelcard for 1st class.
The GA Travelcard is also valid for international travel. As a rule, the discounts apply to the Swiss portion of the route.
There are further discounts for global fare trains. When travelling with TGV Lyria, a GA Travelcard gives you a discount of up to 20% off the standard price from all Lyria boarding stations in Switzerland. To benefit from this, you must purchase the ticket including the seat reservation from the boarding station in Switzerland.
Are you a holder of a GA Travelcard for Youth, GA Travelcard for Children or GA Travelcard for Trainees and would like to travel around Switzerland with a companion? For just CHF 20 per day, you can take a companion along with you thanks to the Tandem Day Pass for GA Travelcard Youth. The only condition is that your companion must also be under 25.
Generally, the GA Travelcard is valid on mountain railways that provide access to residential areas. For journeys on purely tourist-oriented mountain lifts or railways, such as to the Jungfraujoch or on the Titlis, you usually pay the reduced price if you have a GA Travelcard. For mountain lifts and railways, the GA Travelcard for Children and the GA Travelcard Familia for Children is equivalent to the Junior Travelcard. Children accompanied by a parent travel for free.
Your 1st class GA Travelcard together with a valid international ticket gives you access to the Railteam lounges of the European Railteam partners, which offer free drinks, WiFi and a separate ticket counter. Access is only valid on the day of travel (as per the date of travel on the ticket).
If you are under 26, you can benefit from an additional 20% discount on the already attractive MobilityYoung rates with your GA Travelcard (discount valid up to a total journey spend of CHF 1,250). And best of all: no subscription fees, no activation fee. You only pay when you rent a Mobility car.
