Regional Travelcard.

Do you often travel within your region? To work, in your free time, for your education, for training or just for shopping or walking around? Then a Regional Travelcard may be worth your while. Regional Travelcards are available for one month, one year and sometimes for seven days too.

What the Regional Travelcard offers.

Pay for nine months, travel for twelve.

When you buy a Regional Travelcard for a year, with most regional fare networks, you pay for just nine months, but you can travel for 12 months. You can find out the exact details of the conditions from the relevant regional fare network.

Additional discount for children and young people.

Children and young people aged at least 6 and under 25 get an additional discount on the travelcard price.

With the Regional Travelcard, you can travel within the zones included whenever you like without having to worry about buying a ticket.

Key information about the Regional Travelcard

Purchase.

You can buy Regional Travelcards online (one month, one year), at SBB ticket machines (one month) or at a staffed pubic transport point of sale (all).

Adults.

Adults aged 25 or over can get the Regional Travelcard in 1st or 2nd class.

Children and young people.

Children and young people aged at least 6 and under 25 can get the Regional Travelcard in 2nd class for a reduced price. If they would like to travel in 1st class, they pay the adult price.

Duration.

You can obtain the Regional Travelcard for one month or one year (a few regional fare network).

Your Regional Travelcard is integrated onto your SwissPass.

Beyond the region.

If your commuting route extends beyond a regional fare network, then a Point-to-Point Travelcard or a Modular Travelcard are possible alternatives.

Sign in using your SwissPass login.
Choose the date from which your travelcard is to be valid.
Enter your desired departure point and destination. Use a ‘via’ point to create a more precise route.
Select 1st or 2nd class and a duration of one month or one year.
Compare the various travelcards and choose the best option for you.
