• The Companion Ticket is valid for a whole day for one accompanying person (2nd person) travelling together with another person (1st person). The 1st person must hold a GA Travelcard (incl. Trial GA Travelcard, FVP GA Travelcard), 1-month GA Travelcard, Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard (incl. FVP Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard), Swiss Travel Pass (Flex), Leisure Travelcard, Saver Day Pass or Municipal Saver Day Pass.
• Valid within the GA Travelcard area of validity. 
• For journeys outside the GA Travelcard area of validity, additional tickets must be purchased for each person travelling. 
• Customers with a Half Fare Travelcard or GA Travelcard can buy an additional ticket at a reduced price. Customers without a Half Fare Travelcard or GA Travelcard pay the full price.
• Valid on a freely selected calendar day during the duration of the offer, until 5am the following day.
• The Companion Ticket cannot be combined with the Night GA Travelcard, Special Day Pass, Companion Day Pass, Day Pass for Children, Day Pass for Dogs, Day Pass for Friends or Tandem Day Pass.
• For each 1st person, only one accompanying person is allowed to travel using a Companion Ticket. The Companion Ticket (electronic format) is in the name of the accompanying person.
• The accompanying person travelling on the Companion Ticket travels in the same class as the 1st person.
• The Junior Travelcard and Children’s Co-Travelcard are valid for travel with children. However, they are not valid as a ticket or travelcard that entitles a person holding a Companion Ticket to travel with you. Furthermore, one additional person holding one of the tickets or travelcards listed above (GA Travelcard, Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard etc.) must travel with you.
• Class upgrade: if the 1st person with the ticket or travelcard (GA Travelcard, Day Pass, etc.) obtains a class upgrade, the 2nd person with the Companion Ticket can also travel in 1st class (no additional class upgrade needed for this person).
  For the 1st person with the ticket or travelcard, the conditions of the tariff apply: passengers with a GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard can purchase a 1-day class upgrade, Supersaver Class Upgrade or a route-specific class upgrade at the reduced price. The route-specific class upgrade or the Supersaver Class Upgrade is available at full price to passengers who pay the standard fare.
• Get your Companion Ticket via the SBB Mobile app, online at SBB.ch or from most staffed points of sale and ticket machines for public transport.
• No exchanges or refunds.
