The S6 takes you from Basel straight to the Wiesental, where there’s plenty to discover. Shopping in Lörrach, the bird park in Steinen or hiking from Zell in the southern Black Forest.

From Basel SBB, you can reach all sorts of leisure attractions in the Wiesental on the S6. In Lörrach, shopping, culture and indulgence are high on the agenda. You can also enjoy the bird park in Steinen or visit the game reserve in Zell. A bus departing from Zell takes you to the spectacular toboggan run in Todtnau and the beautiful Feldberg.

Outward journey: The S6 runs every half hour (hourly on Sundays) from Basel SBB via Basel Bad Bf, Riehen, Lörrach, Steinen, Maulburg, Schopfheim, Fahrnau and Hausen-Raitbach to Zell im Wiesental. From there, you can take a bus connection to Todtnau and on to the Feldberg, according to the online timetable.
Bicycles can be transported free of charge on the S6.
The S6 is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

The S6 runs from Basel across the German border to Zell im Wiesental. The GA Travelcard and the U-Abo of the Northwestern Switzerland fare network (TNW) entitle their holders to purchase a discounted zone upgrade. We recommend that you purchase the Triregio and Triregio Mini tickets, which entitle their holders to unlimited travel within the corresponding area for 24 hours.
