Quick access to tickets and other services around the clock – at every SBB railway station and from many other transport companies.
It is best to select the destination you want first – then the next departures will be displayed. You can adjust the travel date in the top right-hand corner if you need to.
After choosing the desired timetable using the ‘Select’ button to the right of the connection, you will be shown the possible offers (e.g. standard tickets, regional transport tickets, multiple-journey tickets, City-Tickets, etc.). Follow the subsequent steps to payment.
For travelcards, Day Passes for the Half Fare Travelcard, Day Passes for Children or Dogs, international tickets or regional special offers, select the ‘Other tickets and offers‘’ button at the bottom right.
Tip: Information on the individual offers is available via the info button (i).
Ticket machine helpline 0800 11 44 77.
Do you require assistance with operating a ticket machine? Call the free telephone number 0800 11 44 77 and the SBB Contact Center will help you. The helpline is available around the clock, every day to answer your questions about our range of products or how to operate the ticket machine. Please note: assistance can only be given when you are in front of a ticket machine.
You can also call the same number to inform us if the ticket machine is defective. In this case, please indicate the eight-digit machine ID number, which you can find on the home screen.
Course offer: be & remain mobile.
The course is aimed at people who avoid ticket machines, who have difficulty navigating around a train station, who feel insecure on the streets etc. etc. etc... or people who are interested and curious - particularly those over 50 years of age. So these people too can be independent and autonomous for as long as possible.

How to purchase tickets.
The current user interface makes buying tickets even more intuitive.
As with SBB Mobile and SBB.ch, tickets are purchased primarily via timetable selection.
Choice of language: The user interface is available in four languages.
The four most frequently selected destinations appear as fast-selection tiles.
Four offer categories are also available for fast selection.
The ‘Other tickets and offers’ button leads to more offers.
Dark mode can be selected bottom left (eye symbol).
Once a connection has been selected, the next departures are shown.
To view later/earlier connections, you can scroll down or tap the ‘Edit’ button to customise the search.
Prices ‘from CHF’ (basic setting 2nd class / Half Fare Travelcard) are displayed to enable easy, initial price comparison.
Tapping on the train connection will provide you with detailed timetable information.
The selection of a connection is followed by the ticket options:
Single/return: The single option is always pre-selected.
2nd class/1st class: 2nd class is always pre-selected.
Half Fare Travelcard/full price: The full price option is always pre-selected.
‘Add ’: multiple passengers/dogs/bicycles can be added or changed here.
‘Valid from now’: here you can buy a regional transport ticket which will be valid immediately.
‘1 +’ button: here you can adjust the number for the preselected customer group (Full fare or Half Fare).
After individually changing the ticket options, you can switch to the payment screen via the ‘Buy ticket’ button.
A summary shows which services have to be paid for. If payment methods are not accepted or not available, they are crossed out.
