Valid in the GA Travelcard area of validity for two people travelling together; one of whom must hold a valid (Trial) Half Fare Travelcard, (Trial) GA Travelcard or Swiss Half Fare Card.
The Day Pass for 2 can also be used by a person travelling alone who holds a valid (Trial) Half Fare Travelcard, (Trial) GA Travelcard, Swiss Half Fare Card or Swiss Travel Pass, e.g. for their journey to the meeting point. Electronic tickets must also be in the name of the person travelling alone with the Day Pass for 2.
Valid during the promotional period (21 September to 6 November 2026) on one freely selectable calendar day, until 5am the following day.
Available for 1st class (CHF 128) and 2nd class (CHF 78).

The Day Pass for 2 is available online, via the mobile app, at staffed points of sale and from most public transport ticket machines. Both people travel together with a Day Pass for 2. If you make the purchase online or via the app, you enter the name of just one person and specify the date of travel. Non-personal, undated tickets which require validation are available at staffed points of sale and ticket machines.
Family discount: Junior Travelcards and Children’s Co-Travelcards are valid.
Without a Half Fare Travelcard, children and dogs each count as one person. It is therefore not permitted for two children or a child and a dog to travel together.
Bicycles require a separate ticket.
Class upgrades must be purchased for both individuals. Customers with a Half Fare Travelcard can travel with a 1-day class upgrade or a discounted route-specific (supersaver) class upgrade. Customers who do not have a Half Fare Travelcard purchase route-specific (supersaver) class upgrades at full price.
For journeys outside the GA Travelcard area of validity, additional tickets must be purchased for each person travelling. Passengers with a Half Fare Travelcard or GA Travelcard can buy an additional ticket at a reduced price. Passengers without a Half Fare Travelcard or GA Travelcard pay the full price.
Additional reduced-price RailAway services can be purchased for the Day Pass for 2.
The Day Pass for 2 cannot be paid for using the Half Fare Travelcard PLUS.
