The Kunstmuseum (Stuttgart Art Museum) houses about 250 works in which Otto Dix is particularly well represented. The Galerie Stihl in Waiblingen and the Kunsthalle Würth have noteworthy collections and both also put on very interesting temporary exhibitions.
Enjoy automobile history.
The modern Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt brings more than 120 years of motor car history to life. Over 1500 exhibits, including 160 vehicles, document the development of the car industry from its very beginnings to the present day. The new Porsche Museum opened its doors in early 2009.
