The 43th Gurten Classic will be held on Sunday, 26 October 2025. Whether on foot or by racing bike, this traditional sporting event on the Gurten – Bern’s local mountain – is guaranteed to be both a challenge and an amazing experience for all. You can participate in the 15-kilometre ‘Classic Run’, the 9-kilometre ‘Short Run’, the 10-kilometre ‘Walking Event’ or the 40-kilometre bike race over seven hills and through seven municipalities. Children can commence the children’s run from the Gurtenwiese or start in the family category with their parents.
