• Outward journey: to Luzern, according to the online timetable.
  
• The starting and finishing area for the run is located at the Swiss Museum of Transport. You should plan around 30 minutes for the crossing on the free shuttle boat. Alternatively, you can take the train to ‘Luzern Verkehrshaus’.

The free Swiss Runners Ticket for participants.

• All participants benefit from a free journey with public transport in 2nd class from their place of residence to the venue and back (on the usual routes in GA zones). 
• After registering, you will receive a document via e-mail or post with two personal promotional codes. Use these promotional codes to print a free 2nd class public transport ticket for your outward journey and one for your return trip (valid for 1 calendar day each) at SBB.ch.
• The outward journey must take place between 26 and 29 October and the return trip between 29 October and 1 November 2023.

Important: The Swiss Runners Ticket is person-specific and only valid on the return journey together with the start number. Both must be shown together during ticket inspection.

To visit the SwissCityMarathon, you will need a ticket for the journey with public transport to Lucerne and back. You can buy your ticket via SBB Mobile, on SBB.ch, at the ticket counter or at ticket machines.
