Impressions.

  • Full steam ahead! Board the boat at ‘Luzern Bahnhofquai’ (right in front of Lucerne railway station) and take it to Flüelen.
  • Change to the panorama train when you arrive in Flüelen. Alternatively, you can travel the non-boat route so that you are already on the train from Arth-Goldau.
  • On your journey to Lugano, you travel over, under and across the imposing Gotthard massif. Enjoy the view!
  • During your journey on the panorama train, you’ll learn more from our tour guide about Swiss history and the Gotthard mountain route.
  • Once you arrive in Ticino, you’ll take the train through the picturesque Valle Leventina, past Bellinzona to Lugano.
