Passengers holding a Half Fare Travelcard or a GA travelcard can receive a percentage discount on the standard fare for the cross-border section of the journey when departing from any Lyria station.
Please note that a ticket purchased in Switzerland for Italy, after an exchange at a counter in Italy, can only be rebooked via Trenitalia (counter) and generally cannot be refunded anymore.
Switzerland–Italy (EuroCity).

The usual discount for Half Fare and GA Travelcards applies on the Swiss part of the journey.
Children aged under 16 can travel at a discounted price if accompanied by an adult.
Accompanied children with a with a Junior Travelcard or Children’s Co-Travelcard also receive the usual discount on the Swiss route.
Saver offer Flex (Smart2).

Please note that check-in is required when travelling on regional trains. Check-in is carried out automatically at the scheduled departure time. An internet connection is required for the ticket inspection.
The rules for the exchange or refund of tickets vary quite a lot. They depend on the region in Italy where you are travelling on the regional train. Fare regulations are determined by the regions of Italy themselves and are imposed on third-party vendors such as SBB.
In general, you can only have tickets refunded if the price per ticket is higher than EUR 10. Tickets costing EUR 11 or more per person will be refunded minus a fee of 20% of the price paid.
