From 14 December 2025, the Rosé, Avry and Matran region will benefit from the brand-new Avry-Matran station, which offers trains on lines S40 and S41 Lausanne–Romont FR–Fribourg/Freiburg every 30 minutes.
The regional bus lines will now also serve Avry-Matran as follows:
- TPF line 11 Fribourg/Freiburg–Matran–Avry-sur-Matran, centre commercial will be systematically extended to the stop Rosé, gare. The connection between the stops Avry-sur-Matran, centre commercial and Rosé, gare will run on two separate routes:
- one route via the village of Avry-sur-Matran (two buses per hour);
- one route via the cantonal road, without passing through the village of Avry-sur-Matran (also two buses per hour).
These two routes in combination mean the Rosé, gare stop will be served by four buses per hour.
- TPF line 339 Chénens–Lentigny–Onnens will be systematically extended to Avry-Matran, gare. Two additional return services will operate from Monday to Friday, with one additional return service on Saturdays.
- TPF line 340 Grolley–Ponthaux–Noréaz will run only as far as Avry-Matran, gare and will no longer serve the Rosé, gare stop. One additional return service will operate on Saturdays.
- PostBus route 460 Romont FR–Villaz-St-Pierre–Sédeilles–Avry-Matran, gare will run every hour during peak hours and continue to operate until the late evenings during the week. On weekends, a new service will be introduced between Villaz-St-Pierre and Avry-sur-Matran. New stop at Châtonnaye, Pré Terrapon.
