Here you can find help with redeeming a voucher for a taxi journey or an overnight hotel stay with SBB.
Help with redeeming a taxi voucher.
You are a taxi driver and have transported a passenger because there were no trains available. You have performed a service for SBB for which we would like to thank you. The passenger gave you a voucher as payment. We have put together some instructions so that you or your taxi company know how to receive the money from SBB.
What you need to do as a taxi driver.
Take the voucher from the passenger.
If the journey costs more than the value on the voucher, the passenger must pay you the remaining amount.
If the journey costs less, nobody has to pay.
Issue an invoice with a payment section for the journey. On the invoice, write the route travelled and the amount. For the invoice recipient, write:
Stick stamps onto the envelope (B Mail CHF 1.00, A Mail CHF 1.20) and post it in a postbox or take it to a post office counter.
Once the documents have been checked, you or your taxi company will receive the money in your bank account.
