Navigli Milano: the waterways of Milan.

The Navigli is a system of canals that took seven centuries to construct and connected Milan’s inner city to the surrounding industrial areas and abroad. Nowadays, there’s not much to be seen of the Navigli in the city centre. The Naviglio Grande isn’t just a great place to take a relaxing stroll and enjoy excellent food; it’s also the hub of Milan’s nightlife. The most convenient way to get to this part of the city is via the main station, taking the green underground railway line in the direction of “Abbiategrasso” to Porta Genova.

Historical cultural tour: Sforza Castle.

The impressive castle in the northwest of the old town which once protected Milan against enemies and inner-city riots is now home to artworks from Antiquity through to Renaissance. Discover ancient wooden sculptures, an impressive collection of furniture and the Egyptian collection of the Archaeological Museum in the Sala delle Asse, amongst other things. The quickest way to reach Sforza Castle is via the main station, taking the green underground railway line in the direction of “Abbiategrasso” to Cadorna FN M1.
