Collection.

• Luggage collection on day 1.
• Collections can be booked for between 8am and 8pm. You will be informed of a more precise two hour time slot the day before delivery. 
• For a surcharge of CHF 15 you can select one of three additional time windows for collection: 7am to 12 noon / 12 noon to 6pm / 6pm to 11pm. 
• The three additional time windows are not all available for some locations.
• For certain localities, the transport of bicycles, bikes and special bikes is not at all possible or possible only on a limited basis.
• The following car-free towns are excluded from the transport of bicycles, e-bikes and special bikes:
  • Belalp/Tschuggen
  • Fiescheralp
  • Melchsee-Frutt
  • Lauchernalp
  • Saas-Fee
  • Stoos
  • Zermatt
• Bicycles, e-bikes and special bikes are excluded from express transport.

Pick-up.

Luggage pick-up on day 3 at your chosen station with luggage services.

Please note local opening hours, and the different registration and collection times at the various stations.

• Luggage: suitcases, bags.
  
• Skiing equipment: skis, ski boots, poles, snowboards, sledges.
  
• Bicycles: Bicycles or bike trailers (unloaded) with maximum dimensions (length/width/height) of: 2.0m × 0.8m × 1.0m. Maximum weight: 25kg.
• E-bike: Electric bikes with an electric auxiliary motor and maximum dimensions (length/width/height) of: 2.0m × 0.8m × 1.0m. 
• Special bikes.
  • Longer than 2m and with maximum dimensions (length/width/height) of: 2.4m × 0.9m × 1.1m. Maximum weight: 25kg.
  • Cargo bikes cannot be sent because of their bulk and weight. 

• Collection and delivery points must have postal addresses in Switzerland or Liechtenstein and be suitable for vehicle access. Otherwise the carrier designates a suitable handover point when confirming the arrangement on the previous day,
  
• Maximum weight: 25 kg.
  
• Packaging: skiing equipment must be packed in personal wrapping or in that of the transport company.
  
• Items with special packaging requirements: 
  • Skis and ski boots are to be packed separately in pairs in the appropriate plastic cover provided by the transport company
  • Multiple pairs in personal bags up to a maximum weight of 25 kg
  • 1 snowboard per plastic cover provided by the transport company or multiple pairs in personal bags up to max. 25 kg
  • Bicycles, e-bikes and special bikes separately in the appropriate plastic cover of the transport company. You will be given this cover from the transport carrier upon collection. The transport carrier will take the cover away again once the bike has been delivered so that it can be reused.
• The luggage to be transported must be labelled with a name, address and telephone number and be packed appropriately. 
• Please pack your ski equipment in your own bags or in the transport company’s bags before the transporter collects them. You can pick up ski bags for free at any station with luggage service.
• You can book the return transfer of your luggage at the same time.
  
• Luggage can only be checked in if you have a ticket valid for the whole luggage transport route or one of the following annual travelcards: GA Travelcard, Point-to-Point Travelcard, Half Fare Travelcard, Regional Travelcard, FVP (travel discount for SBB employees), GA Night Travelcard, Modular Travelcard.
• Liability for the partial or total loss, damage and delayed delivery of luggage shall be governed by the Swiss Federal Passenger Transportation Act (PTA) and the applicable Passenger Transportation Ordinance of the Swiss Federal Council.
• Luggage door to station is mainly transported by rail. Micro-distribution is carried out by road. The public transport sector currently handles an average of 70% of luggage transport by rail and 30% by road.

The provisions of the tariff basis of ch-direct respectively the tariffs for luggage of T602 apply.
