• Per 2nd class sitting coach: max. 80 persons.

SBB’s sitting coaches differ in their furnishings. Most coaches have 60 seats in 1st class, whereas most 2nd class coaches have 80 seats. There are either window tables or tables integrated into the seat armrests, depending on the type of coach.

You can combine sitting coaches with other coaches and deploy them as a special event train. The large number of seats and great comfort make them ideal as a sustainable mobility solution for up to 1,200 guests. They can also be used as an addition to our saloon coaches if extra seats are needed.

If so desired, our rail caterer, Elvetino AG, will come and serve you and your guests drinks at your seats. If a saloon coach with a kitchen is reserved, more extensive catering is also possible.
