All aboard! Enjoy a sociable journey along the Limmat, Reuss and Rhine rivers with your club or group of friends.
This special journey follows the course of the Limmat river from Zurich through the Limmat valley. Via Dietikon, Baden and Turgi, you’ll reach the ‘moated castle of Switzerland’, where the Reuss and then the Limmat flow into the Aare.
The route continues along the Aare to Koblenz. There, after changing direction, you’ll cross the Aare and see its confluence with the Rhine on your right. The route then continues along the Rhine to Laufenburg. The only other trains that run on this line are freight trains. After changing direction in Stein-Säckingen, the route continues on the Bözberg line then via Brugg AG, Baden and the Limmat Valley to Zurich.
