Buy tickets for the connection of your choice online (preferably via a desktop) or get advice from the ticket counter at your local SBB station.

Did you know? EuroNight trains from other partner railways can take you even further to destinations like Prague, Budapest, Ljubljana and Zagreb.

To take your bike along with you, you will need to purchase a separate ticket and reservation.

You can currently take a bicycle with you on the following connections:

• Zürich HB–Vienna
• Vienna–Zürich HB
• Zürich HB–Basel SBB–Hamburg
• Hamburg–Basel SBB–Zürich HB
• Zürich HB–Basel SBB–Amsterdam
• Amsterdam–Basel SBB–Zürich HB

Only a few bicycle spaces are available on each connection. We advise you to book early.

Are you travelling as a group? When travelling in a group of 6 people or more (aged 15 or over), you can get a discount. These discounted tickets can be booked directly at the ticket counter in our Travel Centres.

Children aged 5 or under travel free of charge when they share the same seat as their parent. If you require a separate sleeping space for your children, you can purchase tickets for them at a discounted rate. Children aged between 6 and 15 can also benefit from discounted tickets. Are you travelling with a Eurail or Interrail Global Pass? If so, you can pay a surcharge to travel overnight in a ÖBB Nightjet sleeping, couchette or seating car. That way, you can save on the costs of a hotel and arrive at your destination completely relaxed the next morning.

The surcharge must be paid before departure to guarantee a free seat and to avoid the service surcharge for booking while on the train.

The best way to book your seat is at the ticket counter in your local Travel Centre.

Standard compartments can be booked as single, double or triple compartments and include:

• Personal washbasin in each compartment
• Beds with fresh bedsheets
• Welcome package
• Comprehensive breakfast
• Power socket

Deluxe compartments are available as single or double compartments (not available on the route Zurich HB–Amsterdam) and also include:

• Personal bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet
• Shower gel and hand towels

All compartments can be booked as private compartments (e.g. for families) at flat-rate prices.

In the evening, you can choose your breakfast for the next day from the menu of various dishes and drinks that is available in every compartment. It will be served to you in your compartment the next morning. You are also welcome to order hot and cold snacks and drinks to your compartment in the evening (payment required).

• Beds with fresh bedsheets
• Mineral water and a small breakfast
• Washing and toilet facilities in the coach
• Power socket

In your compartment, you will also find a menu with drinks and snacks that the train crew will be happy to serve you directly (payment required).

For passengers with reduced mobility, a coach with a wheelchair-accessible couchette compartment and nearby sanitary facilities is in operation on many connections. These couchette compartments provide space for one passenger in a wheelchair and one companion. Please reserve these spaces well in advance. The discounted ticket for the companion is only available on the train.
