From Zurich, you can reach the multifaceted Lintharena in Näfels in just one hour. The journey on the S-Bahn with a view across Lake Zurich is a pleasure in itself. Take the bus from Ziegelbrücke to a world of adventure.

Instead of getting off at Ziegelbrücke, just stay on the train for one more stop and take the bus from Näfels-Mollis to Filzbach, Sportzentrum. There you will find all sorts of entertaining activities on the Kerenzerberg.

Image of Klöntalersee lake. — Image legend: 3rd highlight: For a spectacular nature experience, stay on the S-Bahn for two more stops, get off at Glarus and then take the bus to Klöntalersee. This lake is known as the “fjord of the Glarus Alps” and offers a wide range of leisure activities.

Start / end of the adventure trail: Ämpächli mountain restaurant (mountain carts/scooters for the descent into the valley can also be rented there).

Length: approx. 2.5 kilometres.

Hikers and animal lovers will love this: Europe’s oldest wildlife sanctuary is a veritable paradise in the heart of Glarus.

There are two wildlife hides within 40 minutes of the mountain station.
Family-friendly hiking trail (45 minutes) with barbecue areas around the Garichti reservoir.
The Waldperlen app takes you on a circular hike (60 minutes), gives you information about the Garichti forest reserve and provides fun and games for children.
