In addition to a large number of his own paintings and sculptures – including exhibits from the ‘Alien’ series of films – you can also admire fantastic works by other artists from Giger’s collection. Experience a spectacular hike on the local mountain, the Moléson. Bus no. 263 will take you from Gruyères station to Moléson-sur-Gruyères in just 10 minutes. From here, you can ascend to the summit on the comfortable funicular and cable car and enjoy panoramic views. A short five-minute walk takes you to the top of Moléson, where you can walk upon the ridge and enjoy wonderful views of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Plateau. Enjoy an indulgent break in one of the cosy mountain huts before starting your descent. The route can be hiked in both directions and offers unforgettable views of the Fribourg mountain scenery.
