Booking a school trip or (J+S) group trip with passengers aged under 25.

Would you like to book a school trip, club excursion or a journey with a ‘Jugend + Sport’ (Youth + Sport) group with passengers under 25 years of age? Groups of 10 or more can spend a whole day travelling in 2nd class for CHF 15 per person (children, young persons, companions and dogs). Naturally, there are different prices for shorter routes. Just send us your request and we can make the train reservations for you.

Before you start:

  • Obligations.

    The request is binding; it is not possible to get price/quotation requests.

  • Processing time.

    Processing can take up to seven working days (working days are Mon-Fri).

  • Trips at short notice.

    For travel at shorter notice (fewer than seven days before departure), please contact a travel centre or the SBB Contact Center.

  • Online purchase.

    To purchase online, you or the journey manager will need a SwissPass login.

The group leader(s) must be present and contactable throughout the journey. If you use the address of the school or organisation under ‘Street’, please indicate the exact details and the name of the school or organisation under ‘Additional address’ (e.g. Saali Primary School, Bühlikofen Secondary School, Gymnasium Unterbach, STV Brig, etc.)

School trip offers from RailAway.

Use public transport for you class trip and benefit from discounted offers for schools. RailAway school trip offers are exclusively available from public transport points of sale and from the SBB Contact Center on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.). Please go back and choose a payment method other than ‘Payment by credit card’. You can find a range of school trip offers at sbb.ch/en/school-trips.

Please enter your business partner number (mandatory).

The minimum amount for an invoice is CHF 100. If you do not know the business partner number or the minimum amount is not reached, please select “Collect and pay at a serviced station” or “Deliver and pay by credit card”.

Invoice and delivery address.

The delivery address has to be the same as the invoice address for the business partner number. (Exception: if there are several locations for the school. In this case, enter the address that corresponds to the business partner number for the billing address and the delivery address for your school location as the alternative delivery address).
