The most important of these are: the Swiss Travel Pass (a kind of GA Travelcard) for adults and for young people up to 26 years old. the Swiss Half Fare Card (a kind of Half Fare Travelcard for a one-month period). the Swiss Family Card (a kind of Junior Travelcard) for families with children aged between 6 and 16 years old. Unlimited use of public transport in over 90 Swiss cities. Free admission to over 500 museums thanks to the Swiss Museum Pass. Included mountain excursions: Rigi, Stanserhorn and Stoos. A discount of up to 50% on other mountain excursions. A discount of up to 30% on leisure travel offers. Offers are available at all public transport ticket counters in Switzerland. Is there a discount on the Swiss Travel Pass for young people?

The Swiss Travel Pass Youth gives young persons under 25 a 30% discount on the Swiss Travel Pass. It offers the same validity.

No, Swiss Travel System offers are only valid for passengers who are resident outside of Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Are there special discounts for children?

Children aged 6 or over and under 16 can travel free of charge with the complimentary Swiss Family Card when accompanied by at least one parent. The accompanying parent must hold a valid ticket from the Swiss Travel System product range. Children under 6 years old can travel free of charge when accompanied by an individual with a valid ticket. If tourist hold swiss half-fare card,can we buy discount super saver ticket?

Because tourist can’t buy half-fare travelcard,so I would like to ask tourist who hold half fare card can get the discount when buying super saver ticket?I saw on the SBB app,if you have half-fare travelcard,then the supersaver ticket will be cheaper.

It offers the same advantages as the resident's Half Fare Card. You are therefore welcome to buy Supersaver tickets, Saver Day Passes, and regular Point-to-point tickets with the Swiss Half Fare card. And, when using Supersaver tickets and Saver Day Passes, please keep in mind that they are both non-cancellable and nonrefundable. In addition, Supersaver tickets are only valid on the trains as proposed by the timetable at the time of purchase.

Children's Co Travelcard for Tourist

We will be travelling to Switzerland, 2 adults and 2 children for a week holiday and will purchase the Half Fare Swiss Card. One of the children is my son, so my understanding is that we will get the Swiss Family Card with the purchase of Half Fare Swiss Card. The other child is my nephew, aged 14. Is it best to purchase a children's co travelcard for him? Can this be purchased online or only issued at the ticket station? I read that it can take 10 days to be issued but for tourists can it be issued immediately at Zurich airport station?Thank you.

Tourist Travel with Children aged between 6 and 16

Dear sir or madam,I'm going to visit Switzerland with my two daughters aged 7 and 9 years old. Now I'm confused by those children's card, such as Junior Travel Card, Children's co-Travelcard, Day Pass Children and GA Travel Card for Children. I'm a tourist and I'm going to purchase the 120CHF Half Fare Travel Card for 1 month. My question is : May I add both of my two daughters to my Half Fare Travel Card? That means I need to order 1 Half Fare Travel Card for myself and 2 Family Cards for my daughters. In this case, can they travel for free then?Thank you for your kind reply in advance!
